About

Hello!

My name is Kaira, I recently graduated from UCLA and am pursuing a career in professional sports videography and creative content production.

Growing up as a competitive gymnast, I was constantly shooting and editing footage from practice and competition seasons as a creative outlet and training tool for myself and my teammates. For as long as I can remember, one of my biggest goals was to create content for college gymnastics.

Prior to college, I attended San Francisco’s Ruth Asawa School of the Arts, where I studied visual arts and honed my technical skills. After a hiatus from traditional art endeavors, I discovered my passion for creative sports content through exposure to several of UCLA’s world-class athletics programs during my first season as a collegiate cheerleader.

I soon picked up a camera again as an intern with UCLA Athletics and started working with the reigning NCAA Champions Men’s Volleyball Team, a sport I was not very familiar with at the time. This experience pushed me to quickly expand my production prowess and gave me the opportunity to explore other opportunities producing creative content beyond gymnastics.

Learning from other creatives at UCLA and elsewhere here in Los Angeles has been such a privilege. Now that I’ve concluded my college career, I look forward to my professional journey in the field and continuing to increase my knowledge and skillset in the years to come.
